Yee haw, I'm at 313 FB friends...
I think I'll just go on a semi-burrito diet,
and a drive with a song,
but without a navigator,
but with a stop and a pause to collect my thoughts every now and then,
and a message to send,
and a mirror to reflect highlights of days,
and jewelry to reflect light of eyes,
and a rose to reflect smile of surprise,
and a cross to reflect the way,
and digital pencil,
and digital paper,
and digital imagery,
to reflect the times and to write the say,
and that's just the way,
I feel about it,
oh,
and a taco sometimes,
just to crisscross my thoughts,
cuzzz the Giants and I have both suffered a loss,
we are both down by one,
and it's a sad one,
but the right one,
and,
but what a fun one,
it was,
but it's not just business or a game,
or something that ends at the end of the day,
that upside down,
sideways,
half empty feeling,
that only time can right and fulfill,
but everything is always to be continued somehow,
and God, love, and friendship, always prevails.
The rule of the day: No jumping off cliffs without supervision, because I like to play tooooooo.
Always be honest, trustworthy, and respectful toward all. You will cross paths with some you do and do not deserve. It is up to you who you decide to hook up with, and walk in the light, or in the shadows with. But always be honest, trustworthy, and respectful toward all, and you will be bound on your path to hook up with those deserving of you, and you deserving of them.
A note to my real-life friends, especially the younger ones:
Those you digitally associate yourself with will allow you to become unknowingly associated with unknown others of even their unknown extended circles, and also gives these extended unknown circles unknown access to your circle of real-life friends. If you care for yourself, and I know you do, and your real-life friends, and I know you do, then be careful who you become associated with in the digital world. Don't be fooled by an image and info that they portray to lure you into their unknown circles and unknown extended circles. Remember that they are total digital strangers and that you have real-life friends in your real life who care more for you than they ever will, even in times of doubt.
On a highway in a wooded, but cleared road construction area
A baby wildcat hissed and clawed but did not scratch
I picked it up from behind the neck and moved it off the road
It's mother was nowhere to be seen
I woke and turned on the morning news
A baby bobcat was found by a woman
It had been hit by a car and was injured
She thought it was an injured domesticated cat
It scratched the woman and tests were ordered
Or so the news reported
Don't hit me when I'm texting and driving, it distracts me
Where people come from is a mystery, and the same with where they go. And I ain't just muse'n 'round no more...
Pop songs seem to have less respect for women, less than rock and roll. Even the women singers, especially in pop songs, and the DJs too. But them folks have a lot of cool tunes too. Country seems to have more respect for women than pop songs and rock and roll, but I still just dig that rock and roll. I ain't never heard a Christian song disrespect women. And I heard a lot of them yesterday, thanks to a friend of mine. And they all always seem better on the radio in a car when you are on a roll.
But firstly: there's something on my mind, and I'm busy
Three high school soccer games, bam, bam, bam
A short drive to another game and place to reminisce and recover
One U-15 girls soccer game on Shasta College soccer field (that was treat number one for them. Oh, treat number two: I was the ref: that was also treat number one for me)
Shasta College was'a rock'n-n-a-roll'n, rap'n, and pop'n out loud music prep'n for Saturday night's football home stand during girls soccer game, a treat for all
But never mind that, just remember this, as I've told you before: there are three kinds of people in the world: those that can count, and those that can't: always try to be one that can
And forget about the fine print: just click "accept and continue" and deal with the consequences later
Oh, and, if I die on way home, can't argue that it wasn't worth the drive, noth'n outrageously special, just a couple of treats, and a nice drive
And secondly: there's still something on my mind, but I'm chill'n now

Ever notice a sad difference between non drug users, recreational drug users, and messed up drug users.Well, for starters, one of them you can't trust an inch. The others, you can only trust if they aren't a thief. One of them set's little traps to trap you in their isolated group and they make it hard for you to escape through their isolated traps. The others invite you in and always let you travel free. One will drain the sparkle right out of you're eye and rip the love right out of your heart and wipe the smile right off your face, dimming your gleam daily. They will each give you a reputation. Two of them you can trust as long as they aren't a thief. One of them you can't trust no matter how honest they seem. One of them will drain the sparkle right out of your eye and rip the love right out of your heart and wipe the smile right off your face, dimming your gleam daily, keeping you trapped and starving for more and you start noticing yourself setting the trap for others but you know that's really not something that's in your heart to do.Then you know you're a messed up drug user but you just might not know it. You'll be to busy being used and taken advantage of, and starving for more.
I looked from the mountains to the river because the river was there and motioning me. Then I looked back to the mountains because the mountains were there and motioning me. But the mountains didn't look right...
Hey
Who needs this real-life trap?
I have cyber
Friends in my life
Dime a dozen
Drop when not liked
They don't bug me
Only love me
When I'm sad they
Make me happy
They will never
Ever leave me
'Cept the one's I
Think not to keep
And the one's who
Think to leave me
Dime a dozen
Who needs them
So
Who needs this real-life trap?

From the very beginning to the very end there is forever; which is now just a thought.
Yesterday the earth trembled, For many minutes it seemed, I was standing in line in a bank, With a very large floor and a very high ceiling, The upper inside corners of the walls cracked gradually, Dark, Jagged, Lightning shaped cracks, Growing slowly, Showed the light of day, The trembling continued, A soft distant roar, A gentleman and I walked toward the door, Others stood inside with wide open eyes, Glancing at each other, As if telepathically saying goodbye, Once outside, In the brightness of the day, I saw trees and poles, And buildings sway, The streets were vacant, As if to say, Folks here know, There's no escape, The trembling slowed, And the roar went away, The gentleman and I, Each went our own way
I saw the sky breaking
Intense
Continual sounds of thunder
Shattered the sky
Pieces of sky
Larger than cities
Crashing hard upon the earth
A huge
Rolling
Tidal wave of earth
Chasing people as they ran
Through the desert
Seeking safety
Tornadoes ripped through the city of Omaha
Downtown beneath the pillars
Of the Woodman Tower
I watched people
Running and screaming
Fearing for their lives they ran
In the sky
The clouds of green and gray
Thick with rain
And full of endless shades
I'm not sure but maybe ten
Tornadoes ripped the city then
The wind
Whipped through my hair
From the front and both sides
And from behind
Faces freaked
With arms outstretched
Fearing for their lives
They ran
North on Eighteenth
But mostly east
On Farnam Street
Sometimes in friendships, if you are fortunate enough, you get a song to share that reminisces days gone by. And if you're extra lucky, it precedes days to come.
Sometimes it's a location...
Sometimes jewelry...
Sometimes a flower...
Sometimes a fragrance...
Sometimes a meal...
Sometimes a team to cheer...
Sometimes a car to steer...
Sometimes in friendships, if you're fortunate enough, you get all that and more...
However, not always in friendships are you fortunate enough to get a number, a number that when heard, seen, or spoken will deliver echoes of sounds and visions of the friendship. A number that reminisces days gone by. And if you're extra lucky, it precedes days to come.
